Our business focuses on shipbuilding production design for vessels commissioned by Japan’s top-tier shipyards, including Imabari Shipbuilding and Mitsubishi Shipbuilding. While it may seem difficult at first glance, what is required are simply "the ability to recognize a two-dimensional flat image as a three-dimensional 'object' when looking at it" and "the ability to complete each and every task carefully and meticulously." We employ a [Flex-Time System] where you can freely determine your own arrival and departure times as long as you meet the total required working hours, allowing you to work in accordance with your own lifestyle.

Actual Duties

This job involves using software such as MICRO CADAM, AutoCAD, and MATES to create processing data based on design drawings. After joining the company, you will first master the basic operations of this software.

After that, you will begin assisting senior colleagues with tasks such as revising design drawings and performing simple verification of data. We will gradually entrust you with simple duties.
At first, you will probably find yourself surrounded by many things you do not know, but you can feel secure knowing that we have an environment in place where we will guide you carefully right from the very beginning.

Q.What was the first thing you learned after joining the company?
A. When I first joined, I started by learning the names of each part of the ship in order to correctly understand the drawings. I am working on thinking about how the parts are installed and visualizing them three-dimensionally from the drawings.

Q.How did your senior colleagues teach you?
A. Currently, I am working on revising and defining data based on existing data. In the process, I am being guided on how to operate MATES. Through the actual work, whenever I have something I do not understand, I ask questions and they teach me each time.

Q.How do you feel now that you are actually working here?
A. Since I started with no prior experience, I felt anxious at first. However, thanks to the support of the people around me, the things I can do are gradually increasing. I also find it a comfortable place to work because I can approach my job at my own pace.
